I wanted to visit Padma Samye Ling, a beautiful retreat center, so I headed up through Pennsylvania, entering New York through Hancock to Sydney. Strangely enough, my route took me into Massachusetts through Hancock, Mass. It was the New Moon, so I stopped for tsok at Tsegyalgar East in Conway. The bridge there is the Burkeville Covered Bridge, built in 1871. I arrived in Northampton the next morning.
